Your Help is Now Needed For most of the year the studio just ticks along without a lot of help from our parents but from February to May we desperately need everyone’s help to make things for the year end performance go well. The following areas are ways you can assist us greatly:
Dance On It Studios 7th Annual Year End Performance June 3rd-5th at The Ridge Playhouse – 4980 Wesley RdA few changes this year, the dress rehearsal is on Tuesday June 2nd which is the day before the first performance (we were unable to get the facility on the Monday this year). The performance on Friday is 7-9 pm to accommodate those who cannot make it to a 6 pm start time. Specific details for each class will be sent out mid-May once things have been finalized.
The cost is $8.50, tickets must be ordered and purchased online and will be available for pick up at the following time:
The following classes will perform on the stated nights and all other classes will perform every night.
Dad’s Dance in the RecitalKristen Low is choreographing and teaching a Dad’s dance for the year end recital. Thanks to many of you have responded to this opportunity already but we thought we would make sure that everyone in our community had a chance to do this too. We are hoping to get a few more Dads to join in on the fun so email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to take the plunge! Coordination and skill is definitely NOT a prerequisite
We will be having 4, possibly 5 rehearsals to learn and practice the dance. The dates of rehearsals are all on Mondays: May 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th (and possibly June 1st). The time of rehearsals will be from 6:15-7:15 PM at Dance On It Studios. Please try your best to be at every rehearsal so that you feel comfortable with the steps.
