We also do amazing arts and crafts projects, learn memory verses, have ice cream sundaes and cap the week off with water games and a performance showcase for our friends and family. Let It Shine! is a great opportunity for children of all skill levels to have fun learning how to dance. This camp will run July 13-17, 2015.
Mini Creative Dance Camp is for students aged 4-5 and will run for 2 hours each morning July 13-17, 2015. Each day we will dance our way through a different theme, read stories and do crafts. This is a great way to keep your child moving and imagining during the summer!
Summer Dance Intensive is our camp for students ages 11 and up (parents of 11 year-olds, please ask your teacher regarding placement in summer camps for your child). This is a two-week program designed to allow our more serious dancers to get back into shape for the fall as well as make major improvements in their technique in an intensive environment. Depending on age and skill level, students will take classes in ballet technique, jazz, contemporary, pointe work, conditioning, musical theatre and more. They will also enjoy some special workshops in topics such as stage makeup and dance history. This program is highly encouraged for all of our advanced students and it will run August 10-21, 2015, culminating in a showcase performance.
